Portland Hot Streak Continues with 3-1 Win
|
Lanzo Huitron, who signed a 2-year contract worth $27,600,000 on 02/02/2085, was terrific for the Portland Dragons in his team's 3-1 triumph over the Denver Glaciers. His performance earned Huitron rave reviews. Huitron, the winner, moves to 2-1. He threw 6 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 5 and giving up 1 walk. Charlie Petipas got the save, the 4th for him this season.
Portland took control in the bottom of the sixth. With two out and runners on 1st and 2nd, Valerik Mirxayan hit a run-scoring single to make it 1-0, Dragons.
"It's great to be on a roll," said Mirxayan.
The Dragons, now 15-4, have been on fire in the early going.
