Lobster Need Extra Frames to Get Past Senators
Maine and Washington duked it out and the Lobster came out victorious.

Starting pitcher Felix Talamantez was a major factor in the 5-2 Maine Lobster triumph over the Washington Senators. Maine reliever Armando Montoya snagged the win, upping his record to 1-0. Oscar Bara shouldered the loss.

Carlos Sosa came through with a big-time hit for Maine. The third baseman smacked a solo home run in the top of the tenth inning to give his team the lead, 3-2. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," Sosa told reporters after the game.

With the win, Maine improves its record to 8-9.
