Thunderbirds Rally to Eke Out Win
The Brooklyn Browns wasted an impressive 7.1-inning effort from starter Alberto Vasquez, falling, 1-0, to the Phoenix Thunderbirds at Legednary Park. The win went to Danny Reyes in relief. His record improves to 2-1. Ocean Mendoza took the loss. The victory makes Phoenix 10-8.

The decisive blow was delivered by Dave Rivera in the bottom of the tenth when he hit a run-scoring double off 24-year old right-handed pitcher Kyle Burch to win the game for Phoenix. The home crowd went nuts.

"This stadium was a-rockin'," said Rivera.
