Rallying Gaedels Get 5-4 Win
The St. Louis Gaedels had to overcome a fine effort from Baltimore pitcher Korey Sanders to win, 5-4, at AT&T Park. Sanders went 6.1 innings and allowed 1 run. Brent Lannin earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 2 innings. He upped his record to 2-0. The win puts St. Louis at 11-7.

Hunter Begley came through with a big-time hit for St. Louis. The catcher smacked a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to give his team the lead, 5-4. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"I'll probably toss and turn tonight," Baltimore manager Andrew Schweizer said, following the tough loss.
