The winning pitcher was Yadisniel Saez. He tossed 103 pitches over 7.2 innings, allowing 2 runs on 5 hits. The loss lowers the Phoenix record to 5-12.

Nick Majors could have done more damage. In the top of the ninth, with Phoenix trailing 12-2, Phoenix had the bases loaded. That's when Majors hit into a double play. But it was not enough. Houston would go on to win the game.
