Starting pitcher Daniel Taylor pitched well enough to help the Toronto Juggernauts beat the Havana Metropolitanos, 4-3. Picking up his 5th save was 33-year old right-handed pitcher Ignacio Noriega. The win leaves Toronto with a record of 9-8.

Steve Dunn's at-bat in the bottom of the first inning was a big one for Toronto. Coming to bat with two out, the bases loaded and Toronto trailing 2-0, the first baseman hit a 2-run single.

"Daniel commanded the zone from bottom to top," said Toronto manager Marc Arnold.
