New York got a big-time effort from pitcher Salvatore Castellon, but it wasn't enough to keep the Cincinnati Twins from winning the game, 8-4. Castellon threw 7.0 innings of 3-hit ball for the losing team. The loss has the Titans at 10-7.

A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. In the bottom of the eighth, with the game tied, Jordan Garcia was at the plate when Cincinnati scored 1 on an error. The miscue enabled the Twins to go in front, 5-4.

"It's nice to step up when your team needs you," said Garcia.
