Twins Dumped, 8-4, by New York
New York Titans starter Linus Beausoleil pitched a strong game against the Cincinnati Twins at Polo Grounds II, leading the Titans to victory, 8-4. The setback makes the Twins 6-11.

Ryan Mellon had a big solo home run for the Titans in the bottom of the fourth inning. With New York leading 1-0 and the bases empty, he sized up a curveball from 22-year old right-handed pitcher Robby Fatone and punished it. The result was his 2nd home run of the season, which put the Titans on top, 2-0.

"Getting ahead of the hitters was the key," said Beausoleil.
