Woodward goes 3-for-5 to Power Wolves Offense
Vancouver took on San Francisco in front of a lively crowd.

The 7-3 Vancouver win over San Francisco was due largely to John Woodward. The Wolves right fielder was 3 for 5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 3. The winner was Juan Pinon, who threw 84 pitches over 5.2 innings. The left-hander was charged with no runs on 7 hits.

With Vancouver leading 3-0 in the top of the seventh, Woodward hit a fastball from Cruz Ponce for a 3-run home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Wolves ahead, 6-0.

"I keep on showing up every day and trying to put up good at-bats and find good pitches to hit," said Woodward.

San Francisco drops to 0-2.
