Glaciers Come Up Short at Alaska, 6-5
The Alaska Kodiaks and Denver Glaciers played an entertaining game for Tundradome patrons.

Cosmo Rothman left his imprint on the 6-5 Alaska win against the Denver Glaciers. Rothman, who finished 5th in the WC in triples with 9 in 2073, was 2 for 3 with 2 doubles and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. The win was credited to Eddie Ferrufino in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Ricky Minjarez took the loss. Jeff Amendola earned save number 2 this season.

Alaska took control in the bottom of the sixth. With two out and runners on 1st and 3rd, Gabe Castro hit a run-scoring single to make it 6-5, Kodiaks.

"I like the grit of this ballclub," Rothman said.

The win puts Alaska at 2-0.
