Wolves Lose By a Run at Chicago
Chicago Phantoms starter R.J. Mendenhall led his team to victory over the Vancouver Wolves, 3-2. The right-hander was locked-in. For the Wolves, the loss makes them 6-10.

Chicago took a 3-1 lead on Jose Buezo's 2nd home run of the season. The solo home run, which Buezo hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Vancouver pitcher Chris Herdegen visibly frustrated.

"We're in a little bit of a dry spell," said Vancouver manager Zach Meinen.
