The Maine Lobster got a superb performance from pitcher Raudelin Proenza, but the Philadelphia Spectres still won the game, 6-3. Proenza threw 6.0 innings of shutout ball. The win has Philadelphia at 9-8.

Philadelphia needed the clutch hitting of Jeff O'Donnell to seal the deal. The shortstop swatted a 3-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Spectres on top, 4-3. For the game, O'Donnell had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"We were able to get some things going offensively," said O'Donnell.
