Pitcher Rajam Masrani was sensational for the Washington Senators in his team's 7-0 triumph over the Buffalo Rangers. Masrani earned the win. In 6.1 innings, Masrani surrendered 2 hits, while striking out 5 and walking 2. He allowed no runs. Washington is still hoping to get on a roll. The win is just their 5th in 16 games.

Sung-hyo Kym went 1-3, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for Washington. The slugging first baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fourth. With one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring single off Jose Ruiz. It was his 14th hit of the season.

"It was a tough night at the plate," said Buffalo manager Alex Beckman.
