Minneapolis first baseman Carlos Dorame helped his team beat the Los Angeles Stars, 7-4. Dorame went 2 for 3 for the Vikings. Zee-loo Kim picked up his 5th save of the season. The Vikings, now 10-5, have been red hot.

Dorame had a big at-bat with the bases empty in the bottom of the second inning, when he hit a solo home run. The Vikings went on to win.

"Every time I go up there, I try and hit a ball hard," said Dorame.
