Vikings 5-3 Winners Versus Tucson
Benjamin Jones, the 21st overall pick in the 2080 draft, was locked in. The right-hander led the Minneapolis Vikings to a 5-3 win against the Tucson Toros at Aetna Stadium. Zee-loo Kim recorded the save, his 5th. The win gives Minneapolis a record of 9-6.

It could have been a different outcome for Minneapolis, had it not been for Sam Cone, the slick-fielding third baseman . Cone contributed a run-scoring triple in the top of the third inning to put Minneapolis up, 2-1.

"We ground out the win," said Cone. "That's all that matters."
