Guilzar Hits 2 home runs in Glaciers Win
The home crowd had a good time watching the Brooklyn Browns and Denver Glaciers get after it.

Alex Guilzar led the Denver Glaciers to a nifty 9-7 win over the Brooklyn Browns. The Denver designated hitter, who is tied for 4th in the WC in hits with 21, was a force of nature. He banged out 4 extra-base hits, including 2 home runs and 2 doubles. Pavel Orta was called on to finish, recording his 1st save.

Nate Tinsley's at-bat in the bottom of the seventh was significant, coming with the bases loaded and the game tied, 5-5. The Denver shortstop hit a 2-run single off Angelo Somoza to put the Glaciers up.

"You can't hate how you win if you win," said Denver skipper Todd Bleess.

The Glaciers are off to a tough start, getting just their 4th win in 15 games.
