The Philadelphia Spectres beat the Havana Metropolitanos, 13-2, at Estadio Latinoamericano. Mike McKasson, in particular, was impressive. He went 2-4 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 2 times and drove in 5. With the loss, Havana drops to 9-6.

Philadelphia grabbed the momentum in the top of the fifth, when McKasson hit a grand slam home run off Tso-i Mak. His 4th home run of the season put the Spectres out in front, 5-1.

"Not much went right for us," Havana manager Kevin Mayerhofer said, when asked afterward about the game.
