Riding the 2-hit performance of the 25-year old catcher Willie Echartea, the Boston Greens defeated the Miami Cyclones, 9-0. The loss lowers the Miami record to 8-6.

Boston used the hitting of Zhong-shan Geng to pick up the win. The center fielder clubbed a 3-run home run in the top of the second inning to put the Greens on top, 3-0. For the game, Geng had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"We swung the bats good throughout the lineup," said Boston skipper Matt Glazer.
