Washington first baseman Sung-hyo Kym made his presence felt in the 8-3 Senators triumph over the Baltimore Kings. Kym went 2 for 5 with 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. The win went to Yuuya Usui in relief, making him now 1-0. Lanzo Huitron took the loss for Baltimore. Washington, with the win, is 2-0.

With Washington leading 4-2 in the top of the fourth, Kym hit a sinker from Lanzo Huitron for a 3-run home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Senators ahead, 7-2.

"We didn't pitch good, and when you don't pitch good, you lose," said Baltimore manager Brad Carpenter.
