Vikings Run Win Streak to 7

The Minneapolis Vikings picked up a win at Minneapolis Grounds, knocking off the Tucson Toros, 6-3. On the mound for Minneapolis was left-hander Vismay Falcon. He played a key role in the triumph. Falcon picked up the win for Minneapolis, going 6 innings. He gave up 3 runs on 7 hits. He now sports a record of 3-0. Zee-loo Kim was called on to finish, recording his 4th save.
The Vikings got a big at-bat from catcher Eric Newland. For the game, Newland went 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the second, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 1st home run of the season gave Minneapolis a 3-0 lead.
