Wolves Win with Late Rally
The Vancouver Wolves clipped the Houston Aquas, 4-3, in 10 innings at Fox-Chong Park. The standout performance belonged to Vancouver pitcher and Yongin, South Korea, native Hyun-koo Ka. Reliever Chris Chavarria picked up the win. His record improves to 2-1. Danny Mathews, who led the WC in strikeouts with 207 in 2081, took the loss. So far, the 2085 season has been disappointing for Houston, now 6-8.

The decisive blow was delivered by Osmel Rivera in the bottom of the tenth when he hit a run-scoring double off 32-year old right-handed pitcher Danny Mathews to win the game for Vancouver. The home crowd went nuts.

"It was a real good effort by Hyun-koo," said Vancouver manager Zach Meinen. "I loved the way he bore down."
