Twins Capture Close Win
Twins fans were treated to an exciting walk-off win.

With right fielder Manny Alaniz leading the charge, the Cincinnati Twins defeated the Baltimore Kings, 6-5, at Cincinnati Grounds. Alaniz went 2 for 4 with a home run and a double, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Cincinnati reliever Ray Hibler snagged the win, upping his record to 1-0. Kyohei Nishimoto shouldered the loss.

The game was decided with one out in the bottom of the ninth. With Cincinnati trailing 5-4, Alaniz jumped on a sinker from 24-year old left-handed pitcher Kyohei Nishimoto and hit a 2-run home run to right. With one swing, the Twins had a walk-off win.

"Sometimes you get the ball in the right spot and it goes," said Alaniz.

Losses have been few and far between for the Kings, now 11-3.
