Ajete Now 1-2 After Subduing Friars
Las Vegas pitcher Yolber Ajete did his part in helping his team beat the San Francisco Friars, 5-0. The left-hander kept opposing batters from doing too much damage. Jordan Torres earned the save for Las Vegas, his 1st. The Friars drop to 6-8, as their stumbling start to the 2084 season continues.

Ajete, a native of Las Tunas, Cuba, was dealing all game. He kept San Francisco hitters off-balance, while giving the Aces 7 quality innings. Ajete threw 102 pitches, allowing 3 hits and striking out 11.

"It's nice to come out on top today," said Ajete.
