|
Los Angeles turned a fine outing from starter Kingsley Bozek into a victory over the Minneapolis Vikings at Minneapolis Grounds. The final score was 2-0. Bozek picked up the win for Los Angeles, going 5.2 innings. He gave up no runs on 6 hits. He now sports a record of 3-0. Losses have been few and far between for the Vikings, now 10-4.
Mike Bishop had a direct impact on the outcome. Bishop contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the fifth inning to put Los Angeles up, 2-0.
"Some of the guys in here work hard, some of the guys just kind of fall out of bed and get it done. Whatever works I guess, we won this one," Bishop told the Los Angeles Gazette.
