The Baltimore Kings cut down the Washington Senators by the score of 8-6, with the largest share of the credit going to first baseman Harold Wicks. Wicks went 3 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 for the Kings. Rocco Porcaro picked up the win, improving his season record to 3-0. He struck out 7 in 6 innings. Raudelin Proenza wrapped it up, recording his 3rd save.

In the top of the third, 25-year old left fielder Robbie Klabunde hit a 2-run home run. The 5th home run of the season for the Baltimore right fielder put the Kings on top, 3-1.

"I was just going up there trying to see good pitches, that was about it," said Wicks.

Now 10-3, the 2084 Kings have been sensational so far.
