Havana registered a win at Estadio Latinoamericano by beating the Philadelphia Spectres, 5-4. Pitcher Chih Lum was one reason why the Metropolitanos triumphed. In 6.2 innings, Lum surrendered 7 hits, while striking out 7 and walking 0. He allowed 4 runs. With the win, Havana boosts its record to 8-5.
Jordan Vasquez dealt the Spectres a blow in the bottom of the fifth. Batting with runners on 1st and 2nd and Havana leading 4-2, Vasquez hit a 2-1 fastball for a run-scoring single.
