Harfangs Wiggle Past Miami, 3-2
|
Tom Dobie was outstanding against Miami. The right-hander, who finished 3rd in the EC in wins with 15 in 2082, had a slider that was virtually unhittable at times. The result was a Harfangs 3-2 win. Montreal is now 8-5.
Billy Buelna was the walk-off hero for Montreal. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Harfangs second baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"He who laughs last laughs best," Buelna said, postgame.
