St. Louis Doubles Up Cincinnati, 8-4

The St. Louis Gaedels picked up a win at Veeck Park, dropping the Cincinnati Twins, 8-4. Andres Anguiano, who is a six-time All-Star, was the difference-maker. Anguiano picked up the win for St. Louis, going 6.2 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 4 hits. He now sports a record of 2-0. Brent Lannin earned the save, his 1st, for the Gaedels.
Early in the game, shortstop Chris Fonville had a grand slam home run for St. Louis. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Gaedels on top, 4-0.
"Andres did what Andres does," said St. Louis manager Mak Dolnick.
Cincinnati, at 3-10, is off to a poor start in 2085.
