Phantoms Earn Late Win
The Chicago Phantoms beat the Las Vegas Aces, 5-4. Chicago pitcher and Hurricane, Utah, native Craig Kruppenbacher led the way. The Phantoms have stumbled out of the gate, getting only their 4th win in 12 games.

Had Nala Forcelledo not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and the bases loaded, Forcelledo hit a 2-run single. That made the score 5-4, in favor of the Phantoms.

"We found a way to get it done," Kruppenbacher said.
