Baltimore Gets 4-2 Road Win
|
The Baltimore Kings took Washington pitcher Xiong Loh's best shot and still were able to claim a win at The ESPN Zone. The final score had Baltimore getting past the Senators, 4-2. Loh went 5 innings and allowed no runs, striking out 9. Baltimore is now 7-5.
Koji Chinea came through with a big-time hit for Baltimore. The left fielder smacked a 3-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to give his team the lead, 3-2. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.
"That's how you're going to be successful," said Kings manager Brad Carpenter. "It starts with pitching and it will always be pitching."
