Getting an impressive start from Vito Pels, Maine beat Buffalo by the score of 4-2. Pels got the win, improving to 1-2. He gave up 4 hits and walked 1 over 6 innings. He allowed 1 run. Picking up his 1st save was 34-year old right-handed pitcher Mike Pechtel.
