Miami 6-1 Losers to Aces

The Miami Cyclones had their hands full with Las Vegas Aces starter Brian Burda, who frustrated Miami hitters while leading Las Vegas to a comfortable, 6-1 win. The Aces win now puts them at 53-55.
Juan Carrizales had a big 2-run home run for the Aces in the top of the fifth inning. With Las Vegas leading 3-1 and a runner on 2nd, he sized up a curveball from Victor Alonzo, who is tied for 8th in the EC in wins with 9, and punished it. The result was his 10th home run of the season, which put the Aces on top, 5-1.
"In baseball, you have your ups and downs," said Miami manager Chris Stephan. "You just try to stay level-headed the whole time."
