San Diego Absorbs 4-1 Loss to Yellowknife
Taisei Yamamoto never let the Destroyers get in a groove. The right-hander used his bread and butter, his sinker, to pitch the Ravens to a win, 4-1. The Destroyers fall to 4-8 and continue their sputtering start to the 2086 season.

The Destroyers had been locked in a 0-0 tie with the Ravens going into the bottom of the sixth inning. That changed quickly when the 32-year old designated hitter Felix Perez came to the plate. Perez hit a 2-run home run on a 2-2 fastball from San Diego hurler Keaton Bozek. It was Perez's 2nd home run of the year.

"I still think this team has room for improvement," Perez told the Yellowknife Gazette.
