Greens Run Win Streak to 8
|
The Boston Greens picked up a win at The ESPN Zone, dropping the Washington Senators, 3-1. Su-shun Nie, who is tied for 2nd in the EC in innings pitched with 150.0, was the difference-maker. Orosmani Ottamendi closed it out for his 1st save. The Senators, now 39-68, have lost 5 straight.
Willie Echartea had a direct impact on the outcome. Echartea contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the third inning to put Boston up, 2-0.
"I like our clubhouse vibe," said Boston manager Matt Glazer.
