Rafael Morales pitched well, but his team, the Phoenix Thunderbirds, still dropped a 3-2 decision to the Philadelphia Spectres at Legednary Park. Alberto Zamora got the save, the 16th for him this season. Philadelphia now has a record of 56-50 with the win.

Philadelphia used a clutch at-bat from Vincent Horvers to capture the win. The third baseman hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Spectres ahead, 3-1. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"If you ever get this game figured out," said Phoenix manager Joe Busch, "let me know."
