Toronto Juggernauts starter Fisko Loera turned in a sparkling performance against the Tucson Toros, leading his team to a 2-1 win. Toronto is now 47-58.

Chad Schoepp, who leads the EC in stolen bases with 34, had a direct impact on the outcome. Schoepp contributed a run-scoring double in the top of the fifth inning to put Toronto up, 2-1.

"I tell our guys all the time, 'Every pitch is the right pitch if you put it in the right place, you believe in it and have conviction,'" Toronto manager Marc Arnold said.
