At Legednary Park, the Phoenix Thunderbirds and Philadelphia Spectres were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

Philadelphia starter Jeong Lee kept the Phoenix hitters in check, while his team cruised to a win, 9-2. The winning pitcher was Lee, now 11-2. He tossed 7 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 2 and fanning 4.

Philadelphia used a well-timed hit by Eddie Kelly to capture the win. The second baseman socked a 2-run double in the top of the second inning to put the Spectres ahead, 2-0. Though it was his only hit in 5 at-bats, it was important.

"They just got us," said Phoenix manager Joe Busch, "and that's all I can say."

The defeat makes Phoenix 39-68.
