The Maine Lobster had to overcome a good performance from Vancouver pitcher Juan Pinon to claim a 3-2 win at Fox-Chong Park. Pinon went 5 innings and allowed 1 run. Maine reliever Aaron Narduzzi snagged the win, upping his record to 5-2. Yasniel Ramirez shouldered the loss. The last-place Wolves dropped to 43-62.

Maine needed the clutch hitting of Jason Diaz to seal the deal. The center fielder swatted a 2-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Lobster on top, 3-1. For the game, Diaz had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"We came out on the wrong end of this one," said Vancouver skipper Zach Meinen.
