Sordia Now 2-4 After Subduing Greens
|
Marcos Sordia, who is a four-time All-Star, imposed his will on the Greens from the get-go. Relying mainly on his curveball, the right-hander spearheaded the 6-0 Baltimore triumph. With the win, Baltimore pushed its record to 62-42.
In his 80-pitch effort, Sordia allowed no runs on 1 hit over 7 innings. He walked 0 and struck out 6.
"Marcos showed what he's made of," said Baltimore manager Brad Carpenter.
