Arrows Fall to Vikings, 6-2
The home crowd had a good time watching the Seattle Arrows and Minneapolis Vikings get after it.

Minneapolis pitcher Juan Pinon did his part in helping his team defeat the Seattle Arrows, 6-2. The opposition could never get too much going against the left-hander. The winning pitcher was Pinon, now 11-4. He tossed 6.1 innings of 3-hit ball, while walking 3 and fanning 8.

In the bottom of the 4th, Minneapolis took the lead on a 2-run single by Eric Newland. At the time, the Vikings were trailing 2-1, but Newland's hit with two outs against Seattle pitcher Hajime Ito put them in front, 3-2.

Minneapolis manager Ace Cooan commended his team for "doing what it takes to win."

Minneapolis's record now stands at 49-55, placing them 4th in the Western Conference Najera Division.
