Minneapolis got a big-time effort from pitcher Jarrod Beckman, but it wasn't enough to keep the Seattle Arrows from winning the game, 4-1. Beckman threw 8.0 innings of 3-hit ball for the losing team. The win went to Jimmy Hsia in relief, making him now 5-1. Zee-loo Kim took the loss for Minneapolis. Midori Murakami wrapped it up, recording his 4th save.

Seattle used a timely hit from Ling-lai Li to get the win. The second baseman stroked a bases-clearing double in the top of the ninth inning to put the Arrows ahead, 4-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it made an impact.

"Things will change for us," said Minneapolis manager Ace Cooan. "When things change, we'll get clicking."

Minneapolis is in the throes of a long losing streak, which is now 9 games.
