The exploits of designated hitter Eloy Laca, who finished 5th in the WC in batting average with .310 in 2077, helped the Cincinnati Twins defeat the Boston Greens, 6-1. Laca hit 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. The win has Cincinnati at 38-64.

Cincinnati grabbed the momentum in the bottom of the fifth, when Laca hit a 3-run home run off R.J. Mendenhall. His 2nd home run of the season put the Twins out in front, 4-1.

Laca said his team "played with focus and determination."
