Veeck Park was the site for Eastern Conference action featuring the Montreal Harfangs and St. Louis Gaedels.

The St. Louis Gaedels finished off the Montreal Harfangs, 6-2. Much of the credit belonged to left fielder Wayne Curran. Curran was 2-3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2 for the Gaedels. Jesus Loyola earned the win to go to 3-5. He allowed 2 runs on 4 hits, with 2 walks and 4 strikeouts in 5 innings of work.

The Gaedels got a big at-bat from right fielder Geri Rengifo. For the game, Rengifo was 2 for 3 with a double and a walk, while adding 3 RBI. In the bottom of the fifth, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 18th double of the season gave St. Louis a 4-2 lead.

"It's always extra special to win at home," said Rengifo.

At 39-64, the Gaedels are currently last in the Eastern Conference Muldoom O'Mulmohery Division.
