Minneapolis Keeps Trending in Wrong Direction
Minneapolis designated hitter Gentaro Arakawa had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Arakawa was 2-4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once, even as Seattle beat the Vikings, 11-6. The losses continue to add up for Minneapolis, having now dropped 8 straight.

Seattle won the game in part because of Joy-shan Yue. The designated hitter ripped a 2-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Arrows ahead, 3-0. For the game, Yue had 1 double and 1 home run in 6 at-bats.

"Their at-bats were really impressive against us," said losing manager Ace Cooan.
