Aces Score Late to Beat Lobster, 4-3
|
The Las Vegas Aces knocked off the Maine Lobster, 4-3, in Western Conference action at Ballpark of Portland. Las Vegas pitcher and Quebec, Canada, native Relly Crousse had an outstanding performance. Jimmy Cain picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 6-1. Robby Fatone suffered the loss. Joe Drum was called on to finish, recording his 2nd save.
Las Vegas used the hitting of Chris Horn to pick up the win. The first baseman clubbed a 2-run single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Aces on top, 4-2. For the game, Horn had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
"Relly giving us the start that he did was huge," said Las Vegas manager Justin Coroian.
The Las Vegas win streak is now 3 games.
