Aaron Kopta, who is tied for 10th in the EC in complete games with 1, imposed his will on the Aces from the get-go. Relying mainly on his changeup, the right-hander spearheaded the 3-1 Maine triumph. After today's action, Maine sits at 47-54, while Las Vegas falls to 46-56.

Kopta, the winner, is now 6-8. In 9 innings of work, he gave up 1 run on 5 hits, while collecting 7 Ks. He essentially shut down the Las Vegas offense.
