The first-place Buffalo Rangers took on the Seattle Arrows in front of a spirited crowd.

Seattle had no answer for Buffalo Rangers starter Craig Kruppenbacher, who flummoxed Arrows hitters as the Rangers cruised to victory, 7-1. The winner was Kruppenbacher. He threw 7.1 innings of 3-hit ball. The loser was Hsui-chen Yang.
