Yahya Kanoro, who is tied for 4th in the WC with a 9.6 K/9 rate, imposed his will on the Lobster from the get-go. Relying mainly on his fastball, the left-hander spearheaded the 4-1 Portland triumph. In 6.1 innings, Kanoro surrendered 5 hits, while striking out 5 and walking 3. He allowed 1 run. Ryan Mena notched his 6th save in 8 chances.
