Kodiaks Suffer 7-4 Road Loss
|
The Las Vegas Aces picked up a win at Western Coliseum, knocking off the Alaska Kodiaks, 7-4. Starting pitcher Salomé Sieuve was a big reason why. Sieuve got the win, improving to 10-5. He gave up 5 hits and walked 0 over 6.2 innings. He allowed 3 runs. Johnny Wickwire earned his 3rd save, after closing out the game.
Manichiro Kawasaki, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2076 draft, aided the Las Vegas cause with a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the bottom of the first. For the game, the third baseman drew 1 walk.
"Salomé was in tempo tonight," said Las Vegas skipper Justin Coroian.
The first-place Kodiaks now sit at 56-44.
