Buffalo Rangers starter Jose Nereida was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Minneapolis Vikings, 7-3. With the win, Buffalo pushed its record to 54-47.
Bobby Rojas, who is tied for 2nd in the EC in home runs with 26, helped out the Buffalo cause in the bottom of the first inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the left fielder went 1 for 4.
Buffalo manager Alex Beckman was pleased with the team's effort. "Our guys went out there and put good wood on the ball," he said.
