St. Louis Gaedels starter Carter Commiskey turned in an exceptional performance against the Buffalo Rangers at Veeck Park, resulting in a St. Louis win, 5-1. Commiskey got the win, improving to 1-1. He gave up 5 hits and walked 2 over 5.2 innings. He allowed 1 run. The Gaedels, now 1-10, have not found much traction so far in 2084.

The Gaedels got a big at-bat from second baseman Edwin Valenzuela. For the game, Valenzuela was 1-4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the fourth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 1st home run of the season gave St. Louis a 3-1 lead.
