Arrington Park was the site of some high drama.

Boston starter Chris Johnston pitched well against the St. Louis Gaedels at Arrington Park. The right-hander led his team to a win, 4-3, in 10 innings. The Greens now have a record of 52-47.

The decisive blow was delivered by Jorgé Alcovas in the bottom of the tenth when he hit a run-scoring double off 25-year old right-handed pitcher Jesus Loyola to win the game for Boston. The home crowd went nuts.

"Our guys refused to lose," said Johnston.
