Mount Royal Park featured a tense pitchers' duel.

Baltimore took on Montreal in a contest which featured a pitchers' duel. Motoaki Tajiri, in particular, was fantastic. The Baltimore right-hander helped his team snag the win, 2-0. Tajiri yielded no runs over 6.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 3 hits, walked 2, and struck out 7. His record improves to 6-4.

Baltimore took a 2-0 lead on Tom Sarmiento's 21st double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Sarmiento hit in the top of the seventh, left Montreal pitcher Touta Kubo visibly frustrated.

"We found a way to win tonight," Tajiri said.

The Kings move to 51-49 with the win, while the Harfangs drop to 56-44.
