Vikings Lose Again, 2-1, to Ravens
The Yellowknife Ravens, behind a great outing from Mike Blain, who is tied for 6th in the WC in wins with 9, defeated the Minneapolis Vikings, 2-1, at Ragged Ass Road. Blain, the winner, moves to 9-3. He threw 6 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 4 and giving up no walks. The save was credited to J.D. Haynes, his 3rd.

Carlos Tenorio drew 1 walk in 4 plate appearances for Yellowknife. The 28-year old catcher had a key at-bat in the bottom of the sixth. With two out and the bases loaded, he broke a 1-1 tie with a run-scoring walk off Katsuo Nozawa. It was his 3rd walk of the season.

"I just tried to stick to my strengths," said Blain.

The Vikings have now dropped 6 straight.
